A Western Mantra

From the Tamborine Talk June 1990.

I have a mantra for you, a genuine Western mantra. You do it. You don’t just mindlessly recite it and hope for the best. You’re responsible for what you say - by doing what you say, now.

Here it is: Don’t judge the situation.

No matter how the situation appears … Calamity. Disaster. Never-endingness. Don’t judge it. See it, every moment of it, but don’t judge it. Don’t come down on one side or the other. Don’t reach conclusions about how it’s going to be or what it means. Take action. Do what is needed. Do what you must. But don’t judge the situation.

Watch and see how this works.
