Honest to the Situation
You are given your life. The circumstances of your life are absolutely right for you. It is only our selfishness that makes us run from the circumstances of our life. We try to find another life before we’ve dealt with this one, these circumstances.
When you are faced with circumstances - your individual life precisely as it is now – you do one of two things. You either surrender or you do something about the circumstances. Action purifies, one way or the other. You take the right action or the wrong action but whatever it is, the action will purify that particular situation, even though it develops another.
Are you trying to run from your situation? Or are you facing it? Are you using it to get rid of your self, which wants to run, or are you being honest and facing the situation?
To be honest requires that others involved in the situation have to be honest too, unless you surrender. If you surrender, there’s no problem.
Are you living with someone who’s not honest with you, not honest to the reason you’re together - to get rid of your selves by knowing what you’re doing, by right love? If they won’t be honest, then why don’t you take the action and quit? Or stay with the situation, use it and endeavour to get them to be honest to the situation and not to their feelings.
