Speaking Truth

Speaking to his meditation group in London, 9 September 1981.

When I acknowledge the truth of what I am, the truth of what love is, or of what God is, or what simplicity is, then what I say is true. When anyone speaks straight from their innocence, everything said in relation to the truth is true. That’s why men of the truth, or anyone who truly knows the truth, never needs to have notes, or needs to refer to a book, and never needs to quote another person. For then they’d have to think, and you can’t think while you’re talking the truth. It just comes straight out from the unconscious, from the divine place in everyone. That’s where the doctrine of the infallibility of the Pope came from. The truth is infallible whoever it comes from. Every man in the truth is infallible - because the truth is the same in all men.
