I love Thee. I do not have to put a face to Thee for I feel Thee, my love, inside me, now. In loving Thee, I can truly and safely love You, who appears as a face … Thou art the substance within of my love of You without. I and Thou are faceless here within - together, always.

Negation is the only truth. Negate everything you think you know - every opinion, every thought. Everybody thinks their thoughts, their opinions, their reasoned conclusions, their theories have value. They have no value whatsoever in respect of the truth. Why? Because everybody dies.

~

You are not what you see in the mirror. You are something far more real. You are the life behind the mask.

~

To look at something you have to see its context. Otherwise, you isolate it and once you isolate something, you will not see the truth of it.

~

"I’m Tired of Living"

You’re not tired of living. You’re only ever tired of trying. Living is meeting the circumstances coming towards you endlessly. Trying is meeting them in advance, to position yourself in some sort of advantage - so that you’re going to win, or what you think will mean winning.

You can only live now, this moment. Now is the moment of living. And the way to give up trying is to face the facts of the circumstances coming towards you, now. If there aren’t sufficient facts, or if you’re getting frustrated, worried or upset, it probably means you’re trying.

In making love, you have to be responsible. You can’t be reactive. Love-making is not a forceful activity. It is a response. Woman can always tell when a man is sexually driven, by the force in his love-making. It is a miracle for a woman to discover a man’s love that is not forceful, not self-serving; a love that is not reactive but responsible - responding in pure passion to the female she is, and the love she is.

When woman realises love, and she is love, she is the spontaneous offering of God to existence. The flower of woman, the spontaneity of joy, the lack of emotional hanging on; just walking down the road with no thought, nothing; seeing through her senses, expressing love just by walking, just by being.

Freedom: Where Does It Begin?

It begins by facing up and accepting yourself as you are, where you are. There must be no action and no reaction, just the seeing of the fact in the moment. That inaction, that pause of intelligent reception of the fact, provides the energy for change, for transformation. You must not act by trying to improve or change yourself. Know yourself. Face yourself. That’s the key. Whatever is needed then happens.

Do you make love for the consciousness of love, so that you can be stiller, more alive, more aware of the purpose of life?

~

Love is union. So there’s no time in love. And there’s no time in being. Love and being yourself are precisely the same thing. It all comes down to now. This is the love that passes all understanding: Being love now. You love yourself sufficiently to be now. You love life sufficiently to be life, now.

~

A problem is a difficulty that hasn’t been faced.

~

You must do what you do. That’s the reality of your life. You’re doing what you do now, aren’t you? Go and do something else! Go on … You can’t - unless you do; and then, if you do, you’re doing what you do. That is the reality of your life.

~

Looking into your life at the thing you want, that you are planning towards – is there the opportunity to do something about it? If not, then why are you concerning yourself with it? If the opportunity for action is not there now, then stop thinking about it. Let the great movement of life look after it.

~

How can you possibly think about being now?

~

Looking forward to an improvement in yourself prevents you from being the truth now.

~

If you have any hope, you are not being now.

~

When I realise I cannot change anything in life, I surrender to what is. And that is peace. I bow to an intelligence that I do not understand, and do not need to understand, and in so doing I align myself with that intelligence, where I come from, and then somehow I am that.

~

Everyone says you must have problems, that problems are unavoidable. But that is not the truth. It has been told you by generations of people with problems and you have believed them – so you believe in having problems. What you believe in, you create. Everyone has problems because everyone has lost themselves. When you find yourself – by discovering how to be now – there are no more problems.

~

What is true is only true for now - it’s always changing. The truth that is behind what is true never changes.

~

Everyone is out of their body. The only reason anyone suffers in the spiritual process towards God is to get them back into the body. That’s why we all get smacked one way or another by life or God.

~

No avoidance! Face life as it is, not as you want it to be. Because this life is integral ­- is one life. You can’t separate bits and say ‘Oh that’s dreadful and this is OK’. You’ve got to encompass the lot.

~

Hear the truth without any attempt to understand. This provides the energy that brings about any required change or action.

~

The way of the spirit is really no way at all, because it is always now. The spirit is now. Life is now. Now is timeless. The truth of the spirit eliminates all time. Surrender all your yesterdays, every attachment to the whole lot, NOW, not tomorrow, not gradually.

~

Everything can only stay as long as it stays - and then it must go. Is that not the truth of your experience?

~

Fear is not a fact. It is an assumption. You are afraid when you think you will lose your life, power or possessions. But you are not afraid in the moments of losing them.

~

My Endeavour

Everybody today lives outside their body most of the time. So the endeavour of my teaching – whatever I am talking about – is always to get you to enter your body, to stop thinking and wanting and trying and all those emotional stances which project you out of your body and lead to fear, worry, doubt and all those negative emotional and mental states that the world suffers from universally.

As I am is how it is.

~

To exist without needing to exist - that is the secret of liberation.

~

To Be …

While you are listening to me, while you are looking at the rose, smelling the breeze or seeing the beautiful blue sky, you must BE. 

You must feel the sensation of yourself. For that sensation of yourself, you will find, one day, is the very thing that is perceiving nature and the beauty of the earth. And it is also feeling the love that is within you, that is you.

Are you that now?

Love is the medium of truth and conducts the truth like air conducts sound.

~

Get your life right outside and you will be right inside.
