Nothing Is As It Appears
Everything is there to delude you, if it can...
If you look into the bathroom mirror, you see the reflection of your body. A reflection is not the truth. A reflection is not the reality, is it?
So what is the reality of your body, which you see in the bathroom mirror and when you look down now?
Feel inside that body, now. Feel it as your sensation, your life, your being. That is not a reflection. Your physical body is the reflection of that!
The body you can feel now as your life, your being, has no past, no future. If you’re always in touch with that body, you’re always being. Feel it now.
There is no hope in that being. If you’re always being, you don’t need any hope.
If you’re always being, obviously you’ve never known a moment when you die. You have to take it from me that when your body dies, you will still be that being. Not as a sensual feeling, projected out of the five or six senses, but a total sense of being that is not dependent on the outside physical world, or a mirror to reflect an image back to you.
The point is this: Your physical body in the mirror is a reflection of the reality of you, which you can feel now, but only now. Feel it now, stay now, and you can never die.
