An amazing life lies ahead of human beings when physical life on earth is no longer interrupted by death or made superficial and self-serving by the dread of it. Man will then be responsible for this part of the cosmos and his life will be filled with extraordinary new purpose. But for now he has to be told that immortality exists, and intellectually persuaded of it.
The realisation of immortality is probably the most splendid step man ever makes into the mind, the first in which man gives the lie to his fiercest dread - death. Nothing can quite equal the astonishment of this first stupendous freedom from the universal lie.
