What is the spirit? What is enlightenment?

Nothing meaningful in human terms can be said about the spirit. Sufficient to say that it is the spirit of God, the supreme consciousness. When the spirit is accessed, the human mind, its aspirations and supposed reasons for existing are completely obliterated in an inflow of inexpressible knowledge or gnosis.

The uninterrupted realisation of the spirit is what would be regarded as enlightenment. But ‘enlightenment’ is an unenlightened word of the mind and so has no real meaning in the uninterrupted state of this realisation. The best that can be said from the spirit about it is that enlightenment is being now. And being now is being innocent of all wanting.

Being now, not just living now, is a great rarity on this earth.
