Aphorisms - Time & space

As within, so without - in time.

Time is the currency of being in existence, as money is the currency of living in existence.

As it is, the universe is stationary.

As we conceive it, it is in constant motion.

A man is as mortal or immortal as the idea or time he identifies with. Impatience is a very mortal condition.

External space - the sense-perceived world - contains no living or feeling thing.

~

No man feels he is 40, 50, 60, 70 - or any age.

He may feel pain and the restriction of the body - his past - but the man, the pastless I in him, never feels any older.

All past is man's; the cosmos has none.

One day, to-morrow did come. Man invented it.

The reality a man can observe at any time is determined by the stillness of his mind or his space, and this is a measure of his intelligence.

~

The idea of the world or universe coming into existence necessitates nothing to manifest as something.

~

Gravitation is the property of a star, and intelligence is the ultimate property of the matter orbiting it. The power of gravitation in the star draws life and finally intelligence out of matter.

~

Space is sense devoid of image.

~

You cannot be conscious and impatient at the same time. Consciousness is timelessness. Impatience is the pressing sense of time.

~

The scientist is always trying to find the beginning of a reality outside himself.
