Master of Love

Barry Long outlines the main points of his teaching of man and woman in the love of God.

Freedom, enlightenment, union with the beloved - the rare state of completion and fulfilment we associate with spiritual masters may appear mysterious and remote. We need to witness it in action. And if we are to act on what we see, we need the master to give us a convincing account of the enlightened state, of our own potential and where we may be falling short. The first thing when you come to me is to realise: 'I am not free - but I see that I can be free'.

Love's purpose is then seen as furthering the realisation of God, bringing more love to earth, in particular through woman's realisation of the love she is.
